Kintsugi

An artwork inspired by the Kintsugi technique, which means “golden repair”. It is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum.
The gold, instead of covering the cracks and the missing pieces, emphasize them, giving another perspective on the imperfection, the acceptance of the change, the uniqueness.
